I use a student-centered teaching approach, focusing on understanding each learner’s unique needs and learning style. I combine direct instruction, guided practice, and hands-on activities to ensure concepts are not only understood but also retained. I emphasize building confidence and critical thinking skills, so students feel empowered to solve problems independently.

Typical Lesson Plan:

Warm-up / Review (5–10 minutes): Quick recap of previous material and addressing any questions.

Introduction of New Concepts (10–15 minutes): Clear explanation using examples and visual aids.

Guided Practice (15–20 minutes): Step-by-step practice with me providing support as needed.

Independent Practice (10–15 minutes): Students work independently to reinforce learning.

Wrap-Up / Review (5 minutes): Recap key points and assign optional practice to strengthen skills.

What Sets Me Apart:

I am a certified 5th-grade teacher with hands-on classroom experience, so I understand curriculum standards and effective teaching strategies.

I tailor lessons to each student’s pace and learning style, making sessions personalized and engaging.

I focus not just on completing assignments but on helping students truly understand concepts and build confidence.
