I am a PhD candidate with over 11 years experience doing health research in post-secondary institutions. I have worked on many different research projects, worked as a teaching assistant and a sessional instructor at the University of Manitoba, McMaster University and Dalhousie University in Canada. I understand how the academic environment can be harsh and difficult for many individuals and how on top of needing to learn a lot of new material, you also have to learn how to navigate complicated social interactions to fit in. My instruction holds all of these complications of post-secondary learning in mind at the same time that I offer support in helping students succeed at their coursework.
