About Qianyu
Qianyu Zhang:
Chinese born Qianyu Zhang, a talented young accordionist, begun learning the accordion at the young age of four. She has had the privilege of receiving musical instruction from numerous acclaimed professors, including Cao Xiaoqing, the most highly regarded accordionist in China.
Upon graduating with a BMus with Honours from The Central Conservatory of Music, Qianyu began an MA in Performance at The Royal Academy of Music in London, gratefully accepting a scholarship to help support her. Studying under Prof. Owen Murray, Qianyu’s musicianship grew thanks to masterclasses and concert experience. More recently, she has experimented combining accordion with string music, piano, percussion music, electronic music, and voice, to form chamber music with more forms.

I'm Qianyu and I'm a accordionist. I am a 2nd year master student at Royal Academy of Music in London. I am an experienced teacher and work in a number of schools teaching the accordion on a one-to-one basis. I am always friendly and enthusiastic!
