About Gilbert
I said I have three kids. Every day on the way to school, I gave them a "word of the day" on the ride to school.
I am a native English speaker with professional experience in both education and communications. Along with classroom teaching, I've spent decades as a professional writer, editor, and content specialist for leading organizations, helping people communicate complex ideas with clarity and confidence.
My lessons are patient, engaging, and tailored to each student's goals—whether you want to improve conversation, pronunciation, grammar, writing, or business English. I create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building confidence.
