About Valentin

Learning a foreign language doesn’t happen overnight. It takes time, but above all, it requires a lot of motivation, perseverance, and consistency. In my opinion, these three things are what really make the difference in the long run.
I know this journey well, having gone through it several times myself.
For this reason, it’s important to have guidance and an experienced teacher who is familiar with this “language journey” and who gives you the tools you need to succeed.
For me, it’s essential to create an environment conducive to learning so that students feel confident and thrive in my lessons; therefore, my lessons take place in a relaxed atmosphere.

As for my experience as a French as a Foreign Language (FLE) teacher, I have had the opportunity to teach and guide students from all over the world as they learn French (online) for over 6 years.
I received my training at the Alliance Française and subsequently I developed my own teaching method.
The students I work with need my assistance for various reasons—whether they live in France and need it in their daily life, travel for business or pleasure, or simply want to practice, improve, or maintain their french through dynamic and engaging conversations.
As a teacher, I am fully committed and dedicated to my students’ learning.
I strive to get to know my students as well as possible in order to meet their expectations.
I am patient and encouraging, and I offer advice and suggestions as my students progress on their language learning journey.

About the lesson

I offer two types of lessons:

- Conversation Workshop (from intermediate to advanced) I always tailor the lessons to the student’s level. We focus primarily on oral communication through conversations about topics that interest you, role-playing, or discussions based on articles, images, and philosophical quotes.
I use GoogleDocs to take notes.
This format is ideal for students who want to practice speaking and improve their fluency and vocabulary.

- Structured lesson (from beginner to intermediate) in which I incorporate the four language skills as taught at the Alliance Française: listening comprehension, reading comprehension, speaking, and writing. I use textbooks with authentic resources.
Lessons are dynamically organized using Google Slides.
This format is ideal for students who want to commit to long-term learning, who prefer a structured approach, and who wish to develop various language skills through grammar exercises and homework assignments. It is recommended to take one to two lessons per week.
