About NUR SYAHMIN BINTI SHAMSOL
I am a passionate Bahasa Melayu educator who genuinely enjoys working with students and being part of their learning journey. With a background in Bahasa Melayu education and practical teaching experience, I have had the opportunity to work with students of different abilities and learning styles.
What I enjoy most about teaching is seeing the moment a student finally understands something they once found difficult. I believe teaching is not simply about helping students achieve better grades, but also about building their confidence and helping them realize that they are capable of learning and improving.
I particularly enjoy teaching Bahasa Melayu because language is an important part of how we communicate, express ourselves, and connect with others. I want my students to see Bahasa Melayu as an enjoyable and meaningful subject, rather than something they have to study simply to pass an examination. Through engaging activities, simple explanations, and lessons that relate to their everyday experiences, I hope to make learning Bahasa Melayu something they genuinely look forward to.
As a private tutor, I aim to create a friendly and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and learning at their own pace. For me, the most rewarding part of teaching is seeing my students grow, not only academically, but also in their confidence, curiosity, and enjoyment of learning.

I am an experienced Bahasa Melayu educator with a strong academic background in Malay Language Education and professional training in teaching and pedagogy. I am currently completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching (Bahasa Melayu). My teacher training has equipped me with knowledge and practical skills in lesson planning, pedagogy, classroom management, assessment, and student-centred learning.
I have gained hands-on teaching experience in primary school settings, where I have taught both Bahasa Melayu and Science during my teaching practicum. This experience has allowed me to work with students of different abilities, understand their learning needs, and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
As a private tutor, I provide personalised lessons based on each student’s learning level, pace, strengths, weaknesses, and academic goals. I can assist students in developing their reading, writing, grammar, comprehension, vocabulary, and overall Bahasa Melayu proficiency, as well as preparing for school assessments and examinations.
I believe that every student learns differently. Therefore, I adopt a patient, flexible, and supportive approach, using clear explanations, guided practice, and engaging activities to help students understand concepts rather than simply memorise answers.
