About NAJMI
As a dedicated and professional Bahasa Melayu tutor, I am committed to helping students achieve real and measurable improvement. With a Degree in Bahasa Melayu from UUM and a Master’s in History Education from UKM, I bring both strong academic knowledge and practical teaching experience into every lesson. I have taught students from Form 1 to Form 5, including SPM candidates, and I am also experienced in marking SPM papers. This allows me to understand exactly what examiners are looking for and how students can score effectively.
My teaching approach is structured, clear, and focused on results. I use proven techniques, targeted exercises, and easy-to-understand explanations to ensure students gain confidence in answering questions, especially in writing and grammar. I also monitor each student’s progress closely and adjust my lessons to suit their individual needs.

My approach to tutoring is student-centered, structured, and results-oriented. As a tutor, I believe that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style based on their level, strengths, and areas of improvement. I emphasize clear explanations, step-by-step guidance, and consistent practice to ensure students fully understand each topic before moving forward.
In terms of techniques and methodology, I focus on proven exam-oriented strategies, especially for SPM candidates. This includes structured essay writing, effective answering techniques, grammar reinforcement, and targeted exercises based on past-year questions. I also incorporate easy-to-understand methods and real-life examples to make lessons more engaging and relatable. My persona as “Najmi” reflects a calm, supportive, and approachable tutor who motivates students while maintaining discipline in learning.
A typical lesson usually lasts between 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on the student’s needs and focus level. Each session includes revision, explanation of new topics, guided practice, and feedback to track progress effectively.
I hold a Degree in Bahasa Melayu from UUM and a Master’s in History Education from UKM. I am also experienced in teaching Form 1 to Form 5 students, including SPM candidates, and have experience in marking SPM papers, giving me valuable insight into exam formats and marking schemes.
My lessons are suitable for secondary school students (Form 1 to Form 5), whether they are weak, average, or aiming for excellent results in Bahasa Melayu.
