Experienced Biology tutor, teaches AP Bio and Hon Bio. With a PhD in Life Sciences and 10+ years of teaching experience

Asha is a splendid teacher who is very good at simplifying concepts and making them easily understandable. She helped me comprehend the subject much better than I could on my own to prepare for my quizzes and tests. She is very nice and I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for biology tutoring.

Asha does a great job at explaining complex concepts in a digestible manner. She paces her lessons very well and leaves room for questions and practice. She is very flexible with her teaching styles and is very open to feedback as well. In general, she is super knowledgeable and a great tutor!

The material was very thorough and reflected the curriculum well. The instruction was well-paced and easy to follow. External resources, such as practice guides and questions, were helpful.

She is a great teacher who has a lot of content knowledge and is able to throughly answer questions in a simplistic way. She is also very patient.

Mrs.Asha Hari was a delight to work with. Our daughter found a friend and guide in her and she was very approachable. If you are looking for an A+ Bio tutor then you are in luck with Mrs. Hari. Thanks to her our kid loves Bio more than ever now :)

Asha is an amazing tutor. We are very lucky we found her on this website. We hired her to help my daughter in her AP Bio class. She is very knowledgeable, patient, and helped my child learn from the ground up. My daughters grade definitely improved after hiring Asha, and my daughter now has a resumed interest in Biology thanks to her.

Asha tutored me in AP Biology to help me be prepared for the class and the test in my 12th grade class. Asha is very knowledgeable about biology, and is very strong at communicating concepts that I didn't understand well in simple terms and fashions. Asha made it not feel like a classroom experience and more similar to a friend giving you guidance on work, I did not feel any pressure and only felt reinforcement as I grew to understand the concepts. Asha helped me bring my grade in AP bio up to over a 90% from low 80's in the beginning of the course, choosing Asha was helpful for me to not only do well, but understand AP bio concepts.

Asha Harikrishnan tutored me in both AP Biology and AP Environmental Science. She was an extremely kind and patient tutor who always put my needs and my learning style first. I was struggling a lot with AP Biology in particular, due to the fast nature and heavy workload of the course. Asha made complicated concepts much simpler to understand, through breaking down the material into simpler terms and providing me with plenty of learning guides and activities for practice. Similarly, in AP Environmental Science, though concepts were not as hard to grasp for me, the amount of information overwhelmed me. Asha helped me create techniques to remember different ecological and climate processes and it made the course much more fun and motivating, rather than "just another AP class." She is a fantastic tutor and will always accommodate your needs and learning style first.
