About Mercy
I am a Biotechnology graduate with a strong background in biological sciences and hands-on laboratory experience. My academic and professional experience has given me a solid understanding of biology, including microbiology, genetics, molecular biology, cell biology and tissue culture.
I am patient, approachable and committed to helping students understand challenging concepts with confidence. I take the time to understand each student’s needs and create a supportive learning environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.

As a biotechnology graduate with practical laboratory experience, I make biology simple, engaging and relevant. My teaching focuses on understanding concepts rather than memorization, using clear explanations, diagrams, real-life examples and practical applications.
Each lesson is tailored to the student’s level and goals. We begin with a brief review, explore the new topic step-by-step, practise with questions, and finish with a recap to reinforce understanding.
What sets me apart is my combination of academic knowledge and hands-on experience in areas such as microbiology, genetics, molecular biology and cell biology. I help students connect what they learn in class to real-world science.
I teach primary and high school students, including those preparing for exams or needing extra support with challenging biology topics. My goal is to build both understanding and confidence.
