About Sally
Hello, my name is Sally, and I am an experienced English, Math, and Science teacher with over 11 years of teaching experience in international schools following the British curriculum.
Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with primary students from different year groups, supporting them in developing their academic skills and achieving their learning goals. I have experience teaching English across primary year groups, Math from Year 2 to Year 5, and Science from Year 2 to Year 4.
I have also supported Year 6 students with Cambridge Checkpoint preparation, helping them strengthen their understanding of key concepts, practice exam-style questions, and develop effective strategies to approach assessments with confidence.
My experience in international schools has enabled me to develop a flexible and student-centered teaching approach. I believe that each student has unique learning needs, so I adapt my lessons to suit their abilities, pace, and goals.
My aim is to provide engaging, structured, and supportive lessons that help students build confidence, improve their skills, and achieve academic success.

My Lesson Approach in English, Math, and Science
I provide structured and personalized lessons designed to meet each student’s individual learning needs and help them achieve their academic goals within the British curriculum.
English Lessons:
My English lessons focus on developing students’ reading, writing, speaking, and language skills. I support students in improving phonics, reading fluency, comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, and creative writing. Lessons include engaging activities, guided practice, and targeted strategies to build confidence and help students become independent learners.
Math Lessons:
My Math lessons are designed to strengthen students’ understanding of key mathematical concepts through clear explanations, practical examples, and step-by-step problem-solving strategies. I support students from Year 2 to Year 5 in areas such as number skills, calculations, reasoning, and applying mathematical knowledge to solve problems. I focus on developing both accuracy and confidence.
Science Lessons:
My Science lessons encourage curiosity and develop students’ understanding of scientific concepts through investigation, discussion, and real-life examples. I support students from Year 2 to Year 4 in exploring different science topics while developing their scientific vocabulary, questioning skills, and ability to explain scientific ideas clearly.
I also provide Year 6 Cambridge Checkpoint preparation, helping students revise key concepts, practice exam-style questions, develop effective answering techniques, and build confidence before their assessments.
My teaching approach is student-centered, interactive, and based on identifying each learner’s strengths and areas for improvement. I aim to create a supportive learning environment where students feel motivated, confident, and successful.
