About Diksha
One of my key strengths as a teacher of Business Studies and Economics is my ability to adapt lessons to meet the diverse needs of students from various cultural backgrounds. I take pride in creating an inclusive learning environment where all students feel comfortable engaging with the material. My focus on real-world applications helps students connect theoretical concepts, like supply and demand or market structures, to current global economic trends, making the learning experience both relevant and practical. I also excel at encouraging critical thinking and problem-solving. By incorporating case studies, simulations, and debates into lessons, I challenge students to analyse situations from multiple perspectives, fostering deeper understanding. My ability to make complex concepts accessible and engaging has proven effective in helping students not only grasp difficult material but also develop a genuine interest in business and economics. As a teacher, my approach is centred around creating an engaging, interactive, and supportive learning environment. I believe in adapting lessons to meet the unique needs of each student, ensuring that every lesson is both challenging and accessible. I typically structure my lessons to last 45-60 minutes, which I find to be the optimal time for keeping students focused and engaged without overwhelming them. I incorporate a variety of techniques, such as case studies, discussions, and practical applications of theoretical concepts, to make learning relevant and real-world oriented. Additionally, I integrate multimedia resources, interactive activities, and problem-solving exercises to cater to different learning styles. My goal is to foster critical thinking, creativity, and a deep understanding of the subject matter. With an MSc in International Business Management and an MBA in Finance, along with experience as a teacher, academic consultant, and tutor, I have developed strong teaching methodologies for students at various levels. My lessons are designed for higher-grade students, typically ranging from ages 16 to 22, pursuing business or economics-related courses, but I can also adapt my approach for younger learners or adult learners seeking academic or professional growth.
