About Abigail

What excites me most about tutoring is the opportunity to help students realise their potential. I understand that everyone has their own learning style, and I take pride in adapting my approach to fit each student’s unique needs. When I’m not teaching, I love exploring new places, trying out new food, and spending time with my friends and family. About the lesson

I believe in a student-centred approach, focusing on developing understanding and critical thinking skills. To help students grasp the core concepts of GCSE and A-Level Business Studies, I use flow diagrams to visually map out key chains of analysis. This method helps break down complex ideas and shows how different factors in business are interconnected, making it easier to understand and remember. In each lesson, I tailor the content to the student's needs, whether we are working on case studies, exam techniques, or general concept review. I encourage active participation and questioning to ensure a deeper understanding of the subject. This interactive method helps build confidence and ensures that students not only learn but also retain what they’ve studied. Lesson Structure & Flexibility: I offer flexible lesson times to accommodate students' schedules. Each lesson typically lasts 1 hour, but I am happy to adjust the duration based on the student's preference or the topic being covered. Qualifications & Experience: I am a qualified tutor with prior experience in teaching Business Studies at both the GCSE and A-Level. I have worked with students to improve their grades and understanding of the subject, and I bring practical business knowledge to the lessons, providing real-world examples to enrich the learning experience. Who My Lessons Are For: My lessons are designed for GCSE Business Studies students, though I am also able to support A-Level students. Whether you're preparing for exams or looking to improve your understanding, my flexible tutoring approach will cater to your needs.
