About Sok Leng (Sandra)
I grew up in Macau and moved to the United States after graduating from high school. Cantonese is my native language, and I have a strong understanding of Cantonese-speaking culture, traditions, holidays, and everyday life in Macau and Hong Kong.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Economics with a minor in Mathematics, and I am currently continuing my education in Cybersecurity. I have more than six years of teaching experience, including over three years of teaching Cantonese, and I currently work as a Cantonese instructor.
As a teacher, I am patient, supportive, and attentive to each student’s learning goals. I enjoy helping students build practical conversation skills, communicate with family and loved ones, and develop a deeper connection with Cantonese language and culture. My lessons are structured, interactive, and adapted to each student’s level so they can learn with confidence and enjoy the process.

Hi, I’m Sandra! I have over six years of teaching experience and more than three years of experience teaching Cantonese. I currently teach Cantonese to students from different backgrounds and learning levels.
My lessons focus on practical, real-life communication. Whether you want to speak Cantonese with family and loved ones, understand Hong Kong culture, or feel more confident in everyday conversations, I will tailor each lesson to your goals.
I use interactive activities, cultural stories, and everyday scenarios to make learning engaging and enjoyable. My teaching style is patient, supportive, and flexible, so you can learn at a comfortable pace while making steady progress.
