About Hairu
Hi! I'm Hairu Wang, a cellist and pianist currently studying at the Royal College of Music in London with a full scholarship. I started playing piano at age six and started the cello at ten. Over the years, I've been fortunate to study at top institutions like the Central Conservatoire of Music in Beijing and Chetham's School of Music in the UK. As a performer, I’ve had the opportunity to play in both solo and chamber settings across China and Europe, and I've won multiple awards in competitions. Teaching music has always been a passion of mine. I have over 5 years teaching experience. I find great joy in helping others discover their musical voice and develop confidence in their abilities. I believe in making lessons fun and personalised, so you can achieve your goals at your own pace. Whether you're starting your musical journey or looking to refine your skills, I’ll guide you with patience, encouragement, and a genuine love for music.
