About Clara
Originally from France, I completed my undergraduate degree there before pursuing a master's degree at the University of Montreal.
I am passionate about chamber music. I played in a quartet for 7 years, attending masterclasses, summer festivals and intensives workshops. I am also involved in diverse creation and contemporary projects. I regularly collaborate with pop artists, contributing to a diverse musical repertoire.
My teaching philosophy emphasizes personalized instruction tailored to each student's goals. I am dedicated to inspiring creativity and musical expression while providing a solid foundation in cello technique.

With 8 years of experience teaching cello, I have worked with a diverse range of students, including young children, adults, beginners, and intermediate to advanced players. My teaching philosophy is centered around the unique goals, needs, and objectives of each student.
My lessons always include work on both technique and musical expression, ensuring a well-rounded musical education. I also strongly recommend my students to work on pieces they love, so feel free to bring your own material !
Lessons are conducted in a safe, joyful and encouraging atmosphere where you can thrive. I am very patient and dedicated to helping you progress at your own pace.
I can also help with stage fright management as I also had (and sometimes still have) to deal with it. I have learned along the way some very helpful tips and tools that might be able to help.
Whether you are a beginner looking to start your musical journey or a more advanced player, I am here to support and guide you every step of the way!
