About Julia
你好Nihao! I’m a Mandarin teacher from China, currently working in the UAE. Over the past few years, I’ve had the chance to live and teach in several countries, which has introduced me to people with very different backgrounds and ways of learning.
I’m a qualified Chinese language teacher and hold a CTCSOL certificate. Outside the classroom, I’m genuinely curious about languages and different cultures, so I really enjoy getting to know my students and learning about their experiences too.
For me, teaching Chinese is not just about learning words and grammar. It’s also a way to understand each other a little better. I hope our lessons can be a small part of that. 谢谢xiexie!

I have over 5 years of experience teaching Mandarin to children, university students, and adults in different countries. In our lessons, I’ll adapt to your level and goals, whether you want to start from zero, improve your speaking, or prepare for HSK/YCT.
I like to keep lessons practical and interactive, with plenty of opportunities to actually use Chinese. We’ll work on pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, and conversation at a pace that feels right for you.
