About Evelyn
Teaching chemistry has shown me that students learn better when difficult ideas are explained in a simple and practical way. I enjoy helping learners understand the reason behind concepts instead of only memorizing information.
I have a Master's Degree and 12 years of teaching experience with high school and college students. Throughout my teaching journey, I have supported students with different learning styles, helping them improve their subject knowledge, exam preparation, and problem-solving abilities.
Seeing students become comfortable with chemistry and solve challenging problems independently is one of the most rewarding parts of teaching.

My chemistry lessons are planned to help students understand concepts clearly and connect them with practical examples. I focus on building strong foundations so learners can approach chemistry with better understanding and confidence.
We'll explore atomic structure, molecular bonding, organic compounds, chemical equations, periodic trends, stoichiometry, acids and bases, solutions, electrochemistry, thermodynamics, reaction mechanisms, laboratory techniques, and analytical chemistry. Lessons include concept explanations, guided practice, revision activities, and problem-solving exercises based on student goals.
I use personalised learning plans, progress discussions, and targeted practice to support improvement. My aim is to help students develop strong chemistry skills and feel confident while preparing for exams or applying concepts independently.
