My approach to tutoring is student-focused and practical. I adapt each lesson to the learner’s level, goals, and preferred pace, ensuring concepts are clearly understood before progressing. I combine theory with hands-on coding exercises to help students apply their knowledge and build confidence. Lessons usually last 60 minutes and are interactive, using real examples and problem-solving activities to reinforce key ideas. I encourage independent thinking and provide structured guidance to help students tackle programming challenges effectively. I have over six years of experience as Head of IT and Computer Science, teaching GCSE and A Level students. I hold a BSc (Hons) in Information Technology (2:1) and specialise in Python for GCSE, and C#, SQL, and Software Systems Development at A Level. My lessons are ideal for students aged 14–18 studying for GCSEs or A Levels, or anyone looking to strengthen their understanding of programming and computer systems. Remote sessions make learning flexible and accessible, using screen sharing and collaborative tools to create an engaging and supportive environment.
