With two decades of hands-on experience in the IT industry, I bring a wealth of practical knowledge to the classroom. My career includes significant roles at major corporations like IBM, TalkTalk, Cognizant, and contract work for Microsoft and Symantec. This real-world background enriches my teaching, allowing me to connect complex concepts to industry practices. I am a fully qualified teacher with a PGCE, and I am currently completing a master's degree in Digital Forensics and Cyber Security to stay at the forefront of the field. My diverse professional and academic background enables me to provide students with a comprehensive and relevant education in information technology.

I design my lessons to be engaging and effective, using Bloom's Taxonomy to build from foundational knowledge to higher-order thinking skills. Depending on the topic, lessons can range from 1 hour and 15 minutes to 3.5 hours. With over 20 years of experience in the IT industry and 4 years as a teacher, I specialise in tutoring students aged 16 and older. I teach a wide range of qualifications, including A-Level Computing, Digital T-Levels, BTEC, and university-level courses. My goal is to combine practical industry insight with strong academic principles to help my students succeed.
