About Selin
Hey! I'm Selin :) I've been teaching hip hop, jazzfunk and high-heels for the past 5 years in Germany. When I was traveling I gave workshops in Thailand in jazz funk and heels.
I've been taking dance lessons since I was 7 years old and practiced in many different styles and cities over the past 13 years. I danced in music videos, taught and over all gained a lot of performance experience.
In my five years of teaching I had the pleasure of working with people of all ages and levels, so I was able to refine my teaching style in a way that I think I can help everyone with their dancing skills! My students described me as bubbly, outgoing, reliable, fun, strict and passionate :)
I am very good with kids and have worked with them for five years (ages 5 to 16) as well, in case you're looking for a teacher for your children!

About the lesson

Every lesson starts with a warm up consisting of:
- moving to fun music
- a little workout (optional) to build those muscles we need to dance
- basic steps in that dance style
- streching
After the warm up we will work a little on technique for the dance style you choose and we will practice the steps we'll need for the choreography!
Following that I will teach you a choreography according to your skills and dance level. I'll make sure to challenge, but not overwhelm you :)
