About Naima

Hi, I’m Naima, an international dancer with 10+ years of experience, choreographer, director, and teacher living between Paris and New York. I trained at the Paris Musical Academy, Rick Odums, and the National Center for Living Arts, where I earned my dance teacher diploma in 2019. I also continued developing my work in New York at Broadway Dance Center. Alongside teaching, I have performed and choreographed professionally for stage, contemporary projects, musicals, and live events. I am also the founder of Pöhler Dance Company, a contemporary dance company based in NYC and working between France and the U.S.

My background allows me to teach dancers at many different stages, from complete beginners discovering movement for the first time to advanced dancers and performers looking for stronger technique, artistry, stage presence, and professional guidance. My choreographic work includes contemporary creations and live performance projects such as the Tiffany Landmark Broadway Event at the Hudson Theater in New York.

I teach all levels, from beginner to pre-professional and professional mentorship.

I offer training in:

Ballet, modern, jazz, contemporary, commercial, heels, and burlesque.

Lessons are tailored to each student’s goals. Whether you want to build a strong technical foundation, improve flexibility and coordination, feel more confident in class, prepare for auditions, refine performance quality, or develop your own artistic voice, I adapt the session to what you need.

I also offer:

- solo coaching and choreography

- wedding dance choreography

- audition preparation

- performance coaching

- professional mentorship for dancers and performers

For solos, custom choreography, and wedding dances, pricing is discussed depending on the project.

My teaching approach combines technique, musicality, artistry, expression, and stage presence. I care a lot about helping each student grow in a way that feels both demanding and supportive. My goal is for you to leave each lesson stronger, clearer, and more connected to your movement.
