About Lori
With over 20 years of experience as an educator, I bring both expertise and empathy to every tutoring session. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in English, a Master’s and Doctorate in Educational Leadership, and I’m a certified Secondary English teacher. I’ve supported students from middle school through early college with everything from literary analysis and academic writing to college essays and career preparation. My goal is always to create a supportive, structured, and engaging learning environment where students can grow in both skill and confidence. As a tutor, my approach is highly personalized, responsive, and rooted in over 20 years of experience in English education and academic coaching. What sets me apart is my ability to balance academic rigor with encouragement. With a doctorate in Educational Leadership and years of experience supporting students from middle school to early college, I know how to challenge students while keeping them motivated and confident.
