About Demi
I have been a Primary School Teacher for nine years and taught my own classes in across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. I am experienced in creating effective and engaging lessons. I try to make my lessons both simple to understand and challenging for each pupil, therefore I often plan lessons from the student perspective and take into regards individual needs.
The last year and half has been difficult for many children and unfortunately there may be gaps in learning due to missed school and the change in way lessons have been taught. I will make tutoring both enjoyable and effective for your child, showing them how the skills they are learning will be used in real life when they grow older. I will also discuss with you a what you would like your child to achieve over the course of our sessions.
A bit more about me:
I am coming up to almost ten years experience as a Primary School Teacher and have taught my own classes in various state schools across North London. I possess a business degree in Music and Media Management, graduating at London Metropolitan University and gained my teaching qualification (Graduate Teacher Programme) at Middlesex University. I have also studied therapeutic arts in education at The Institute for Arts and Therapy in Education and have a working background in music.
