About Jayla
My name is Jayla, and I am a dedicated and patient educator who enjoys helping students learn and grow. I have experience working with children in classroom settings and supporting students with different learning needs and abilities. I understand that every student learns differently, so I create a welcoming and supportive environment where students can feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.
I take my role as a tutor seriously and always come prepared, organized, and ready to help. My goal is not only to help students improve academically but also to build their confidence and encourage them to become independent learners. I am dependable, understanding, and committed to making each lesson a positive learning experience.

My name is Jayla, and I believe children learn best when lessons are fun, engaging, and connected to their individual needs. My teaching approach is patient, encouraging, and hands-on. I use simple explanations, examples, activities, games, and questions to help students understand the material instead of simply memorizing it.
A typical lesson begins with reviewing what the student already knows and identifying what they need help with. Then, I introduce the topic using an easy-to-understand explanation and examples. We practice together before allowing the student to try independently. I end each lesson by reviewing what we learned and making sure the student feels confident about the material.
What sets me apart is my experience working with children in classroom settings. I have worked with students from different age groups and understand that every child learns differently. I take the time to be patient, listen to students, and adjust my teaching style based on their needs.
My lessons are best suited for elementary and middle school students who need extra support with schoolwork, homework, reading, writing, basic math, or building confidence in the classroom. My goal is to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel supported, encouraged, and excited to learn.
