About Lea Ann
I have 14 years of classroom experience, mainly in kindergarten. I have tutored students from K-5. I don't believe there is one right way to teach. It's my job as a teacher/tutor to find what makes learning click. I love to not only help students develop academic skills, but also develop a love of learning!

I offer tutoring and homework help for elementary students. As every student is unique, I don't have a set structure for my tutoring sessions. I start by getting to know each child and their unique needs. I then build our sessions around not only their academic needs, but the needs of the whole child (activity level, stamina, confidence, etc.). Additionally, as a neurodivergent teacher that is parent to two neurodivergent kids I provide social skills and executive functioning support as well, either independently or in conjunction with academic tutoring.
