About Dara
I am an experienced Economics tutor with 5 years of teaching High School and College students. Over this time, I have successfully guided around 200 students to improve their understanding of Economics, excel in exams, and complete assignments with confidence.
I teach core areas such as Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Econometrics, and International Economics, using real-life examples and case studies to make concepts clear and relatable. My teaching philosophy focuses on collaboration, flexibility, and creativity, ensuring that each student learns at their own pace while developing analytical and critical-thinking skills.
I emphasise practical application, helping students connect theory with real-world economic issues and data. I also guide them in exam preparation, assignments, and project work, aiming for results that are both effective and long-lasting. Integrity is central to my approach, and I teach students to analyse economic information ethically and responsibly.

My teaching approach focuses on making Economics practical, understandable, and engaging for High School and College students. I cover core areas such as Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Econometrics, International Economics, and Development Economics, ensuring students gain a strong foundation and a clear understanding of real-world applications.
I use real-life examples and case studies to explain economic concepts, helping students connect theory to everyday situations, business decisions, and global issues. My sessions are collaborative, encouraging students to ask questions, discuss ideas, and actively participate in problem-solving.
I am flexible, tailoring lessons to each student’s pace, learning style, and goals—whether it is exam preparation, assignments, or building analytical skills for higher studies. I emphasise creativity, showing students how to think critically, analyse data, and approach economic problems with innovative solutions. At the same time, I maintain integrity, teaching ethical reasoning and responsible interpretation of economic data.
Overall, my goal is to help students gain confidence, master economic concepts, and apply knowledge effectively, while fostering curiosity, analytical thinking, and a long-term understanding of Economics. Learning with me is interactive, practical, and results-driven.
