About Me: Experienced, Dedicated, and Results-Driven Elementary Teacher & Tutor
With 22 years of experience as an elementary teacher, I’ve had the privilege of helping countless students succeed in grades 2-5. My passion for teaching began when I discovered my love for math during college, and I’ve carried that same enthusiasm into the classroom throughout my career. I understand that every child learns differently, and I pride myself on creating individualized learning plans that build both skills and confidence.
My professional background includes working with diverse groups of students, and I have consistently helped them meet and exceed state standards. I have been recognized for my ability to help students show significant growth, and I’ve earned awards for the progress my students made in reading and math.

Hello! I’m a passionate and experienced elementary teacher with 22 years of experience teaching grades 2-5. I have a proven track record of helping students meet state standards and excel academically.
My Teaching Method:
I believe in a student-centered approach, where each child’s unique learning style and needs are at the heart of every lesson. I use a variety of techniques, such as hands-on activities, visual aids, and interactive learning, to ensure concepts are fully understood. My aim is to build confidence and foster a love for learning.
A Typical Lesson Plan:
Warm-up: A brief review of previous material or a quick assessment of current understanding.
Introduction: Present new concepts in an engaging and accessible way.
Guided Practice: Work through problems together, with my guidance, to ensure the student grasps the material.
Independent Practice: Allow the student to apply what they’ve learned on their own, with support as needed.
Wrap-up: Review the lesson, address any lingering questions, and set goals for the next session.
