About Darshan Barath

I’m Darshan Barath, a highly motivated Robotics and Mechatronics Engineering graduate with proven experience in teaching and mentoring students at various academic levels. My background combines strong academic achievement with real-world engineering expertise, enabling me to deliver lessons that are both engaging and practical. I believe every student has the potential to excel when guided with patience, clarity, and the right learning approach. My tutoring style is structured yet adaptable, ensuring that complex ideas in Maths, Physics, and Robotics are broken down into clear, understandable steps. I use a mix of interactive exercises, real-life examples, and personalised feedback to help students build confidence and master the subject. I have worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Maths Mentor, supporting students from GCSE to A level and beyond. My lessons are always tailored to each learner’s needs, whether they are preparing for exams, strengthening core knowledge, or exploring STEM subjects in greater depth. Professionalism, commitment, and student success are at the heart of everything I do. My aim is to create a positive, results-driven learning experience that empowers students to reach their goals.

About the lesson

As a dedicated tutor, I, Darshan Barath, focus on making complex topics simple and engaging. My approach blends clear explanations with practical examples, ensuring students understand the “why” behind each concept. I use interactive problem-solving, visual aids, and real-world applications, especially for topics in Maths, Physics, and Robotics. A typical lesson lasts 60 to 90 minutes, tailored to the student’s pace and learning style. I start with a quick review of previous topics, introduce new concepts step-by-step, and end with guided practice and feedback. I am a Robotics and Mechatronics Engineering graduate with teaching and mentoring experience at university level, as well as industry experience in engineering and automation. My lessons are ideal for GCSE and A level students, college learners, and anyone preparing for exams or seeking to strengthen their understanding of STEM subjects. My goal is to help students build confidence, achieve higher grades, and develop a lasting interest in learning.
