I am an educator with classroom experience supporting students across multiple grade levels. I am passionate about helping learners build confidence in reading, writing, and communication. I understand that every student learns differently, and I strive to create a patient, encouraging environment where questions are welcomed and growth feels achievable.
Before tutoring, I spent several years designing interactive learning experiences that required strong problem solving and critical thinking. My approach as a tutor is supportive, encouraging, and focused on helping students feel confident in their abilities. I start by understanding where each student feels stuck, whether that is reading comprehension, organizing an essay, preparing for a test, or polishing a resume. From there, I break skills into clear, manageable steps and guide students through practice with steady feedback.
A typical lesson includes reviewing goals, modeling strategies such as how to analyze a passage or structure writing clearly, and then working together on real examples. I make sure students leave with tools they can use independently.
I work with elementary through high school students in English, reading, writing, creative writing, and test preparation, as well as adults seeking resume support. My goal is always to create a calm space where learning feels achievable and progress feels real.
