About Olivia
I am a recent graduate of Claremont McKenna College, getting a degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics. I have always had a love for writing, whether creative or academic, because it is one of the best outlets for me to have my own voice. Outside of school, I have a long history with Model UN, and conduct research on art history and the way art intersects with politics.

I just recently graduated Claremont McKenna College, and am jumping right into teaching students. In August, I am completing a fellowship living abroad and teaching underpriviged children English. With my over 7 years of tutoring experience with clients ranging aged 10-18 in subjects including Economics, English, Political Science, Government, and History, I feel strongly that everyone can succeed in the classroom, they just have to find what works for them. I have a wide range of experience with my clients in their skills and interest levels, and love to make learning fun! With an approach centered on curiosity, I meet you where you are at. A typical lesson with me can range from working with you on an assignment, or reading through a chapter or article and having a discussion togther. It is amazing what can be discovered by just asking, "why"?
