About Alisha
Hello! I’m Alisha, an experienced English educator with over 14 years of teaching in some of the city’s leading schools. With a strong academic foundation — B.Com (Banking & Insurance), B.Ed., and M.A. in English — I bring both expertise and passion to every session. My goal as a teacher is to make English come alive in the classroom, helping students not just learn the language but truly love it. I take pride in creating a safe, supportive and engaging space where learners feel encouraged to think critically, communicate confidently and explore creatively. My lessons are thoughtfully structured, a balance of discussion, practice and feedback, tailored to suit each student’s learning style and pace. Whether it’s enhancing grammar and vocabulary, refining writing skills or delving into the beauty of literature, I ensure every class is purposeful and inspiring. As a teacher, I believe that true learning happens when curiosity meets clarity. My approach is rooted in making English both meaningful and enjoyable by connecting language and literature to real-life experiences. Each session begins with a quick recap and goal-setting, followed by interactive discussions, guided practice and individual feedback. With 14 years of experience in some of the city’s top schools, I bring patience, structure and enthusiasm to every lesson.
