About Skye
Hello! I'm Skye, a friendly and enthusiastic language tutor with a BA in French, Spanish and Linguistics and experience teaching English to learners of different ages and abilities. Having studied languages at university and lived and worked in Spain, I understand both the challenges and the rewards of learning a new language.
I believe the best learning happens when students feel comfortable, supported and encouraged to make mistakes, so I always aim to create a relaxed and positive environment where confidence can grow alongside language skills.
I am currently studying an MSc in Speech and Language Therapy, further developing my understanding of language, communication and how people learn. Whether you're just starting your English journey or looking to refine your skills, I'd be delighted to help you reach your goals.

I offer personalised English (ESL/EFL) lessons for children, teenagers and adults of all levels, whether you're learning English for school, work, travel or everyday life.
With a first-class BA in French, Spanish and Linguistics, I have a strong understanding of language learning, grammar, phonetics and communication across multiple languages. Alongside this, I spent a year as an English teacher in Spain whilst also providing private English tuition to families, giving me experience supporting learners from a range of backgrounds and abilities.
Lessons are tailored to your individual goals and can focus on conversation, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing or exam preparation. I use engaging, practical activities and real-life situations to help you develop confidence and use English naturally.
Lessons are usually 60 minutes long, with a friendly, supportive approach that helps students make steady progress while crucially enjoying the learning process.
