About Samantha
I have been teaching English for over 12 years both in the UK and abroad.
I have taught students aged from 9-18 as well as adults.
I am currently a teacher in a state school but have taught in a international schools and a top private boarding school in Scotland.
I currently tutor students online and in person, as well as hold group tutition.
I try to make my lessons engaging and relevant and I have a proven track record of improving attainment in English Language, English Literature, Media Studies and English as an Additional Language.
I am passionate about teaching and learning and helping students to achieve their potential.

My teaching method is to include a range of different activities. I like to approach lessons online as I would teaching in a classroom; modelling, scaffolding, giving examples and making my own content so lessons are lively and engaging.
I feel it's important to continually assess students' progress as I teach them so that lessons can be personalised.
