About Kate
I have a background in dramatic literature, humanities, and narrative studies, with extensive experience in writing, editing, and textual analysis. I have five years of experience as a university teaching assistant, supporting students in developing their academic writing and critical thinking skills. I have also taught creative writing and philosophy of art and worked on television script development.
I enjoy helping students discover their strengths, express their ideas clearly, and approach writing with confidence. My teaching combines academic rigor, creativity, and an individual approach to each student's goals.

My lessons are tailored to each student's goals, level, and learning style. With five years of university teaching-assistant experience and a background in dramatic literature, narrative analysis, and creative writing, I help students develop clear, well-structured essays, stronger arguments, critical thinking, and confident written expression.
I teach essay writing, academic writing, literature analysis, creative writing, and playwriting. My approach combines practical exercises, individual feedback, and step-by-step guidance to help students understand not only how to improve their writing, but also why particular techniques work. Whether you are preparing for university assignments, developing your creative voice, or learning to analyse literary and dramatic texts, lessons are adapted to your needs and progress.
