About Archita
I am currently completing a Bachelor of Data Science and Computer Science at the University of Western Australia, where I hold a Global Excellence Scholarship in recognition of academic achievement. I have several years of tutoring experience across Math, English, and Science, working with students from primary through to lower-secondary level, and I currently tutor professionally with Success Tutoring in Perth. My own academic foundation, achieved under the rigorous ICSE curriculum with strong results in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, along with further preparation for India's JEE examinations, has given me a firm grasp of what it takes to build strong fundamentals — an approach I bring directly into how I teach English grammar.

My teaching approach is built around meeting each student where they are, rather than following a one-size-fits-all method. I start by identifying exactly where a student is struggling — whether it's a specific grammar rule, sentence structure, or general reading comprehension — and then break it down into small, manageable steps. I explain concepts in multiple ways until something clicks, and I make sure students feel comfortable asking questions, even ones that feel "basic," because that's usually where the real gaps are. I also focus on building genuine understanding rather than memorization, so students can apply grammar rules confidently in their own writing rather than just in isolated exercises.
Lesson Length
Lessons typically run for 60 minutes, which gives enough time to review previous work, introduce new concepts, and practice them together. For younger students or those needing more focused, shorter bursts of attention, I can also offer 45-minute sessions.
