About Tom

I am an experienced Piano teacher with a Diploma in performance. I'm also a graduate from the University of Bristol in Drama and English offering tuition in English, Drama and Music at all levels. Due to quarantine, I am now newly available to take on new students for online lessons!

I live in the Easton area of Bristol and have been offering online lessons during quarantine. I am now beginning to offer in-person lessons again, subject to safe conditions.

I particularly specialise in English Lit. and English Lang. GCSE, A-Level and Degree and am already familiar with all the set texts from the exam boards at those levels, and how to get the most out of them.

I also completed an A-Level in Music alongside numerous other musical exams and performances, and as such have well-rounded experience and skills of pretty much every academic area of Music. I can offer specific theory tuition, instrument lessons for piano or flute, and with GCSE and A-Level as well.

About the lesson

I'm very friendly and approachable and I work well with students of all ages, from pre-school to adult beginners - I am able to get the level of focus necessary to cover and learn all the important areas of these subjects and to ensure that any pupil is the most prepared they possibly can be.

I achieved high grades across the board at GCSE and A-Level English, and would be able to guide you towards achieving high grades as well, with knowledge of the best approach to exams, texts and essay writing.
