I had the pleasure in studying under the teaching and guidance of Andrew Proudfoot for my final years of high school, I started off as a student with no motivation nor sufficient skills in English, however after 2 years with the enthusiasm and experience that Mr proudfoot brought to every lesson I grew more confident in myself not only as a English student but as a person as a whole, Andrew has a brilliant grasp on English teaching and of the IB curriculum that led me and many of my peers to achieve grades beyond what we had initially thought possible. Mr proudfoot is a teacher that leaves an impact on you, his methods of teaching are uniquely engaging where they force you to engage urself with literature due to his shared knowledge and skills.

Mr Proudfoot was my Sixth Form English Language and Literature Teacher. He always made English the most enjoyable lesson of the day through his good humour and dedication to the subject. I had the pleasure of being taught by Mr Proudfoot for 2 years during my time studying ib language and literature. During that time, Mr Proudfoot made what was admittedly my least favourite subject into something I enjoyed, and looked forward to...even first thing in the morning.
