A Typical Lesson Plan
Lesson Title: Crafting a Standout Resume or Essay
Introduction (5-10 min) – Discuss the purpose of the resume/essay and key elements of strong writing.
Real-Life Examples (10-15 min) – Analyze well-written resumes or essays, breaking down what makes them effective.
Student Work Review (20-30 min)– The student shares their draft, and I provide constructive feedback on structure, word choice, and clarity.
Revisions & Practice (15 min) – The student applies feedback, making real-time improvements while I guide them through edits.
Wrap-Up (5 min) – Summarize key takeaways and assign revisions or exercises for next time.
