My journey began as a Medical English Terminology Instructor from 2015 to 2019 in Wuhan, Hubei, China. During this period, I had the privilege of teaching Chinese doctors who aspired to work as physicians in Maseru, Lesotho. This opportunity, provided by the Medical Council of Hubei Province, allowed me to impart not only language skills but also specialized medical English terminology. ESL Teaching Experience: My commitment to language education continued as a Full-Time IELTS Speaking Instructor (ESL Teacher) from 2012 to 2018 at Wuhan New Channel School. Here, I honed my skills in teaching IELTS speaking, guiding elementary students, and even instructing young learners in kindergarten. Additionally, I ventured into Business English and Hotel English, catering to diverse language needs. During this period, I also took the initiative to establish and manage Happy English School from 2014 to 2017. As a self-employed educator and business owner, I taught English to students ranging from K3 to K15. This experience not only deepened my understanding of language acquisition but also enhanced my ability to connect with students of various ages and proficiency levels. Medical Background: In 2015, I served as a Language Therapist at Wuhan Zhongde Mental Disease Rehabilitation Hospital. My primary focus was on patients within the autism spectrum disorder, emphasizing the importance of effective communication and language therapy in a healthcare setting.
