About POOJA
Hello! I am based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, and I have completed my Graduation. I have been practicing and performing Ghoomar and Rajasthani Folk Dance since my childhood, giving me a deep, authentic understanding of this beautiful cultural art form.
● Being raised in the cultural heart of Rajasthan, I have mastered performing and teaching Ghoomar across all types of music, including:
Traditional Langa Songs: Capturing the raw, authentic folk rhythm.
Seema Mishra’s Iconic Melodies: Perfecting the graceful, classic Rajasthani style.
Bollywood Ghoomar Songs: Bringing the grand, cinematic choreographies (like Padmaavat) to life.
● In addition to my lifelong dancing journey, I bring 4 years of teaching experience. This allows me to break down complex footwork, hand gestures (mudras), and fast spins (ghoomnas) into incredibly simple, step-by-step lessons for absolute beginners. I also share my dance journeys, tutorials, and performances on my YouTube Channel.
● Whether you want to learn Ghoomar for a wedding/sangeet, a cultural event, fitness, or simply to connect with your roots, I will customize our lessons to match your pace. Let's bring the true grace and vibrant energy of Rajasthan to your dancing!
