About Venla
I am a 20 year old woman with 10 years of violin playing experience in the summer. In addition, I have a strong background in working with children through childcare and junior football coaching. I am also starting gig work in kindergarten.
I played the violin for 10 years at the Eastern Helsinki Music College in private lessons and in an orchestra. I have also studied music theory. . Thus, the idea of teaching violin playing and music to a few enthusiasts set off after holding my brother’s violin lessons now weekly.

When working with children, the most important thing is to keep pace with the child's terms. It is important to me to work with the child to create goals for what the child wants from my lessons and agree on a pace of progress. I personally believe that open conversation and listening to a child are the key to a lucky hobby that leaves joy for the rest of your life.
Clarity is also important when working with children, which is why I like to make various illustrative maps and other easy-to-understand illustrations to track progress.
My lessons mainly use the Colourstrings method, which I will be happy to tell you more about. All sheet music, as well as a folder to store sheet music, my students receive for free. So all you need for the class is a player and a happy mind! [OF]
