About Mickael
Hello, my name is Mickael and I am an experienced French teacher working in international schools. I have several years of teaching experience with students from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds, which has helped me develop a flexible and student-centered teaching approach.
I am passionate about languages and education, and I enjoy helping students build confidence in French while developing strong communication and analytical skills. My experience in international education has allowed me to work with a wide range of learners, from secondary school students to adults, and to support students preparing for demanding academic programs such as the IB.
As a teacher, I value clarity, patience, and consistency. I believe that learning a language should be both structured and engaging, allowing students to progress step by step while staying motivated.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy sports, music, and learning about different cultures, which also helps me connect easily with students from around the world.

My lessons are structured, supportive, and adapted to each student’s needs and objectives. I focus on building confidence in French while developing strong foundations in grammar, vocabulary, and communication.
A typical lesson usually begins with a short review of previous material, followed by targeted practice depending on the student’s goals: conversation, grammar clarification, reading comprehension, or exam preparation. I like to use authentic materials such as articles, short texts, and real-life situations to make the language more engaging and meaningful.
My teaching approach combines clear explanations with active practice. I believe students progress faster when they understand why something works in the language, not only when they memorize rules. I therefore encourage questions, interaction, and regular speaking practice.
What sets me apart is my experience teaching in international school environments and working with students from different linguistic and cultural backgrounds. I am familiar with the expectations of international curricula, including IB-style assessments, and I help students develop both accuracy and confidence.
