About Kimberly
A French lesson succeeds when you find yourself laughing while using new vocabulary in a role play. We recreate a Parisian café scene or a train station interaction to ground your learning in a concrete moment. Developing reading comprehension and pronunciation happens naturally when you are engaged in dialogue practice.
My 16 years of experience allow me to pivot quickly if a specific topic proves difficult for you. This approach is designed for anyone from absolute beginners to advanced learners who need a challenge. We concentrate on travel French and building the conversational fluency you need for your next trip. It remains a straightforward process that helps you move forward at your own pace.

Guiding students through the intricacies of language is a role I have occupied for 16 years. My 120 students have helped me refine a method that values clarity and consistent progress. After completing my MA in Applied Linguistics at Macquarie, I spent many years in Canberra developing resources that bridge the gap between theory and practice.
I am a native Spanish speaker who also holds a deep appreciation for the structure and nuance of French. Working with beginners, teens, and advanced learners has shown me that diverse groups require a flexible mindset. You will see that my teaching character is defined by a desire to keep things straightforward and analytical.
