About François-Camille

I offer private French tuition for students of all levels, from beginners to advanced learners, whether you are studying French at school, preparing for exams, or simply looking to improve your confidence and fluency.

I am first and foremost a mathematician.I also hold a DEUG in Classical Studies, which I completed alongside my degree in Mathematics. This background has given me a particular interest in languages, literature, history and philosophy, and allows me to bring a wider cultural perspective to my French lessons.

About the lesson

I offer specialist private tuition in French for GCSE, IGCSE, A-Level and IB students, as well as undergraduate and university students. I support learners across all levels, from those seeking to strengthen their grammar and conversational skills to ambitious students preparing for examinations and competitive university applications.

Having now been an independent tutor for 7 years, I put my experience, teaching skills and motivation at the service of my students, helping them develop confidence, accuracy and fluency in both written and spoken French while working towards academic excellence.

➤ Personalised lessons — Each lesson is adapted to the student's needs, whether the goal is to improve grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, writing, speaking or overall confidence in French.

➤ Clear explanations — I focus on making French grammar and language structures easy to understand, with explanations adapted to the student's level.

➤ Tailor-made exercises — We work through carefully selected exercises to reinforce each topic and develop a strong and practical understanding of the language.

➤ French in context — Lessons can incorporate literature, history, philosophy and French culture, allowing students to understand not only how French works, but also the cultural context behind the language.

➤ Progress monitoring — I adapt the pace and content of the lessons according to the student's progress, ensuring that each new topic builds on a solid foundation.
