About Unyime
My name is Unyime, and I am a Frontend Software Developer with a background in Engineering. Over time, I have come to realize that one of my greatest strengths is the ability to explain ideas clearly and patiently, in a way that makes learning feel natural and enjoyable. Coding changed the direction of my career and opened doors I never imagined possible, and I teach because I want others to experience that same sense of possibility and empowerment. I believe that every student is capable of learning to code — they need guidance that is supportive, structured, and tailored to their pace. I do not believe in making students feel rushed or inadequate. Instead, I focus on encouragement, clarity, and steady progress. My teaching is grounded in kindness, consistency, and genuine care for each learner’s growth. I take time to understand how my students think, where they may feel stuck, and how best to help them gain confidence. Professionally, I have built real-world digital products used by everyday people, working in collaborative software teams. This means I not only teach the theory of coding, but also the practical skills needed to solve real problems and build meaningful projects. Students learn not only to write code, but also to think like problem solvers. Whether I am teaching children who are coding for the first time, teens exploring technology, or adults changing careers, I maintain the same commitment: To provide a safe, encouraging learning environment where students grow, feel capable, and succeed. I teach because I believe learning should be a journey of discovery — and no one should walk that journey alone.

As a tutor, I believe that every student learns best when they feel understood, supported, and encouraged. My name is Unyime, and I teach coding in a way that is patient, structured, and confidence-building. I don’t rush students or overwhelm them with jargon. Instead, I break concepts down into clear, relatable steps and guide them through real-world examples so they truly understand what they are doing — not just memorize code.
My lessons are practical and hands-on. We learn by creating small projects and gradually building up to more complex ones, so students can see their progress and feel proud of what they create. I use drawings, analogies, storytelling, and guided practice to make coding less intimidating and more enjoyable — especially for young learners and complete beginners.
A typical lesson lasts 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on age and attention span. For kids, lessons include short breaks, visual explanations, and fun mini-projects. For teens and adults, lessons are more structured with clear learning goals and periodic progress checks. I adapt the pace to match each student’s needs, whether they are fast learners or require more step-by-step guidance.
I am a Frontend Software Developer with real industry experience. I am also experienced in communicating technical topics in a simple, calming, and encouraging way, which helps students who may feel anxious, shy, or unsure of their abilities.
