About Dave

I truly enjoy playing bass and sharing my experience and my knowledge. I want you to succeed as a bass player, so I will give you the tools that you need to be a solid and capable player with a strong foundation in sight-reading and ear training. My strengths as a player are in listening and applying my deep knowledge of current and classic musical styles, and I will share that knowledge with you.

About the lesson

I want you to succeed, so I'm going to give you the "unfair advantage" of being prepared to play anything, from sight-reading sheet music to listening to an unfinished track and having a style of your own to contribute. A typical lesson starts with warm-ups that include sight-reading and skills reviews, then we dive into some new territory to push you farther. We will go deep into the songs you want to learn to play, along with a few suggested songs that will help to balance your effectiveness and groove sensibility.
