She tutored me for economics A-level in year 13. I was struggling with economics in year 12 and ended up with a B at the end of the year, so my dad was looking for a tutor for me. With Shital’s help, I got an A* in my A-levels. Some of her strengths were that she would explain concepts really well using examples and broke concepts down simply so that they could be understood. She also created her own notes that I think were very useful and made them according to the syllabus so that you would learn what was useful. She also made sure to include real-life applications of each topic in these notes. She would also ask me what I wanted to do and where I needed the most help, so we would focus on those areas too, which I think was very useful in catering to my needs. She knew when I was confused and would check in to see where I was confused and ask what I was confused about. When exams came closer, we would also spend the last 15 minutes doing exam questions, and she would help me with what to discuss and explain the mark scheme to me. She also provided me feedback and helped me with questions I did in my own spare time, and if I was confused about why this was the answer, she would explain it to me through messages or in class. Overall, a very good tutor.
