About Muhammad
A bit about me: I am an experienced tutor specialising in GCSE Arabic, with over five years of teaching and private tuition experience. I also provide tuition in Maths and the Sciences, particularly for secondary-school students.
For GCSE Arabic, my lessons are focused on helping students achieve the best grade they are capable of. I cover reading, writing, listening and speaking, alongside grammar, vocabulary, exam technique and extensive past-paper practice. Lessons are tailored to the individual student's strengths and weaknesses, with a strong focus on the requirements of the Edexcel GCSE examination.
I achieved an A in A-level Arabic and have several years of experience teaching Arabic, including GCSE-level students. As a native Arabic speaker with experience of the British education system, I am able to explain Arabic clearly to students who have grown up in the UK, including those who may understand or speak Arabic at home but struggle with formal reading, writing and grammar.
I also teach Maths and Science, drawing on my engineering background to break difficult concepts down into simple, understandable steps. My approach is patient, structured and adapted to each student's level.
I believe that successful tuition is about more than simply going through the textbook. I identify gaps in a student's understanding, explain concepts clearly, practise them together, and then use exam-style questions to develop confidence and exam technique.
