About Carolin
I am a German tutor with a background in social pedagogy and primary education. Teaching has always been closely connected to my professional life, and I enjoy working with people who have very different learning styles, goals, and personalities.
Today I teach German to students from many different countries, from complete beginners to advanced learners. I also work with professionals who need German for their careers and with students preparing for language exams.
For me, good teaching means listening carefully, recognizing what a student actually needs, and adapting the lessons accordingly. I want my students to feel comfortable speaking, asking questions, and making mistakes, while still making clear and measurable progress.

My lessons are highly personalized and built around the way you learn best. I do not simply work through a textbook from beginning to end. Instead, I create individual materials for each student and adapt every lesson to your level, interests, goals and learning pace.
We work with real life situations, images, texts, conversations and practical exercises. This helps you learn new vocabulary and grammar in context and use it naturally in everyday situations.
Speaking is an important part of my lessons, but grammar is never ignored. I explain grammar clearly and practise it with you until you can use it confidently.
Whether you want to improve your everyday German, become more confident at work, prepare for an exam or simply speak more naturally, the lessons are designed around what you actually need. Every lesson is structured, varied and adapted to you.
