About Chrysi
Hello Superprof community!
My name is Chrysi, I'm 24 years old and a Greek language teacher. I’m very excited to meet students who love learning new languages like you! I have a great admiration for my native Greek language and love to teach it to others. I'm fluent in Greek and English. I graduated with my Bachelor's in English Language and Literature in 2025.
Experience:
I have 4 years of experience teaching Greek to students from grades preK - 8th grade, who had various proficiency levels, in the Greek afternoon school of Holy Trinity.

Teaching methods:
Using casual conversation, vocabulary building, focusing on verbs and their formations in different tenses. I usually assign themes to each lesson (ex: if we have a lesson about the beach, the vocabulary will consist of words associated with the beach). I also help with homework for students who attend Greek school.
And because learning a new language should be a fun experience, I try to make my lessons as fun as possible! Occasionally, we will study Greek mythology, Greek culture and traditions, and play vocabulary/word games.
